Abstract: This paper presents a model-driven 3G service creation approach based on Model Driven Architecture (MDA) technology. The focus of the paper is the methodology of designing telecommunication service-related meta-model and its UML Profile implementation mechanism. This approach enhances the reusability of applications through separation of service logic models from concrete open Application Programming Interface (API) technologies and implementation technologies.
