  • Call for paper——Special Issue on Propagation and Control for Complex Dynamical Networks

    Scope and Motivation 

         The explosive growth of Internet, Big Data and Artificial Intelligence prompts human society to step into the network age, and the network science showing highly complex characteristics is being integrated into the fields of the daily life and productive activities in human society. The communication of the complex network has rapidly become an interdisciplinary subject that runs through many fields. The related theories deployed to many fields involving natural science, social science, management science, engineering technology are created to describe interconnected complex systems and networks. Besides, the complex network control aims to control complex network to achieve the expected goal through appropriate control methods. It is the frontier issue of complexity science and the ultimate goal in the research of complex network.

          Currently, the issues of propagation and control for complex dynamical networks have already attracted the widespread concern of scholars in different fields, and many important related achievements have been acquired. However, some problems and mysteries including evolution mechanisms of complex networks and the function for controlling complex networks are still in existence and worth further researches. Concurrently, the research on the complex network control cannot fully attain the actual requirements for the rapid development of real networks. There are still many burning issues of theory and application, such as optimal controller design, minimum control energy, controlled node selection and so on. Consequently, we solicit excellent papers in the field of complex network propagation and network control from experts and scholars at home and abroad. Your latest research achievements will be shared to promote the development of propagation and control for complex dynamical networks.

    Topics


            In this special issue, we propose the fundamental theme on Propagation and Control for Complex Dynamical Networks, which aims to attract the researches focusing on the theories, technologies and engineering methods for propagation and control of complex dynamical networks. The topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

    1. Modeling, structure and function analysis on the complex networks;  

    2. Link prediction and recommendation algorithm on the complex networks;  

    3. Dynamics on complex networks: synchronization, propagation, game, etc.  

    4. Network analysis on the actual complex dynamical systems;  

    5. Basic theories and applications on the network security;  

    6. Complex networks and big data analysis, artificial intelligence computing, the machine learning of graph networks;

    7. Fault detection, state estimation and topology identification of complex dynamical networks;

    8. Analysis on controllability, observability and stability of complex dynamical networks;

    9. Synchronization and control of complex dynamical networks;

    10. Control technologies of network systems in actual networks;

    11. Control and optimization on the propagation of complex networks;

    12. Control and stability on multi-agent systems.

     

    Submission

    This special issue of Propagation and Control for Complex Dynamical Networks welcomes submissions of high-quality, novel research results. All submissions will be anonymously peer reviewed and will be evaluated on the basis of their technical content. Papers should be submitted online through the manuscript submission system of The Journal of China Universities of Posts and telecommunications. Remember to select “Special Issue on Propagation and Control for Complex Dynamical Networks” as your manuscript type when submitting; otherwise, it might be considered as a regular paper.
