Scope and Motivation
The rapid development of information technology has brought changes in the mode of cultural digital production and communication. How to quantzation, understand and spread culture has become an urgent problem to be solved in the field of cultural digitization. Therefore, it is necessary to build a culture semantic representation space, carry out multi perspective, multi-dimensional and multi-level cultural mining, as well as its internal relevance and research on discovery of evolution law, so as to mining and elucidating the historical , artistic and scientific value of enabling culture, and provide scientific theoretical basis and key technical support for cultural protection and inheritance.
Facing the problems of short supply board, digital divide and data island in the process of cultural digitization, , "cultural computing", as the basic theory of cultural digitization production, communication and experience, is gradually recognized by the academic community, and its supporting role in the cultural science and technology industry is becoming more and more obvious. It has gradually become the core driving force for the development of cultural industry. Therefore, facing the research fields of cultural computing theory and technology, cultural big data engineering and standards, cultural science and technology industry and equipment, we solicit excellent papers from domestic experts, scholars and students engaged in cultural computing related research, carry out discussion and exchange, and share the latest research results of cultural computing.
Topics
In this special issue, we therefore propose the fundamental theme on Cultural Computing, which aims to attract the research focus on Cultural computing theory, technologies and engineering method from all research communities. The topics of interest include, but not limited to the following topics:
Submission
This special issue of Cultural Computing welcomes submissions of high-quality, novel research results. All submissions will be anonymously peer reviewed and will be evaluated on the basis of their technical content.
Papers should be submitted online through the manuscript submission system of The Journal of China Universities of Posts and telecommunications. Remember to select “Special Issue on Cultural Computing” as your manuscript type when submitting; otherwise, it might be considered as a regular paper.
